Multiphysics Numerical Simulation of the Transient Process in Electrochemical Machining

To fully understand the electrochemical machining profile, a multi-physics coupling simulation model including flow-electric-temperature-structure field were established to analyze corrosion process of anode material and change trend temperature,hydrogen volume fraction, electrolyte conductivity current density in processing gap.The analysis results show that temperature hydrogen content gradually increase along direction.The removal showed parabolic upper opening lower opening, respectively.The different physical changes blade profile can not only better complex phenomena machining, but also provide theoretical basis for selection actual parameters.
